    Dr. Akwasi Achampong is a caring and diligent internist in Elmont, NY. Dr. Achampong obtained his medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology, New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency at Maimonides Medical Center. Dr. Achampong is a part of Elmont Medical P.C. He is affiliated with Franklin Hospital in Valley Stream, NY and Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, NY. Dr. Achampong is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Patients see him for a variety of reasons, including pneumonia, osteoporosis, hoarseness, asthma, and migraines. Dr. Kwame Bawuah-Edusei is a physician, diplomat and business executive with a track record of philanthropy who has dedicated his life to enhancing youth development, women and children upliftment through positive engagements. Dr. Bawuah-Edusei graduated as a Medical Doctor from the School of Medical Sciences of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, Kumasi, Ghana.

As a private citizen, Dr.  Bawuah-Edusei formed an oil company, EO Group with his partner. The hard efforts deployed by EO Group contributed eventually to the discovery of oil in large commercial quantities for the first time in Ghana.

Dr. Samuel B. Akuoku

 

 Dr. Samuel B. Akuoku was installed as the Abenasehene under the Traditional name of Nana Akuoku Boateng I on Thursday, December 17th 2020.

Dr. Samuel Akuoku graduated from Ghana Medical School and proceeded to do his Residency in Internal Medicine in New York. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and in addition holds an Executive MBA Degree. He established the Laurelton Medical Center in New York which has subsequently been acquired by New York University Medical Systems. He has a profound interest in Community Development and has built a lovely Hotel – The Paradise Resort Hotel near Lake Bosomtwi.

Nana Osei-Agyemang Bawuah,Dr. Samuel B. Akuoku

Nana Osei-Agyemang Bawuah, Otumfuo Aboafuohene, is AsanteHene’s External Representative Chief responsible for seeking development and investment from the diaspora to Asante.
Nana served as the Chairman of the Charlotte-Kumasi Sister Cities Committee for the City of Charlotte, NC. In 1995, he led a delegation from Charlotte (which included the Mayor of Charlotte and a Congressman from NC) to Kumasi to sign the treaty between the two cities.
Nana is Vice President at Citi Bank supervising the functions of Deposit Risk and Acquisition Strategy. He previously held senior positions as Credit Risk Management Professional at JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America,  HSBC, T-Mobile, and FICO. Nana’s educational background includes MS (Mining Engineering) from Columbia University, M.Engr. Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech, and MBA Finance and Operations from Carnegie Mellon University.
